The fourth domain of the Technology Support Index (TSI) is enterprise management. With school technology infrastructure approaching private sector standards, a number of outstanding technology innovations are now available that can substantially impact a school district's support system. The automation of software installation, for example, can save thousands of staff hours that can be dedicated to supporting users with problems. Effective use of virus software can prevent substantial downtime should an outbreak occur. The enterprise management domain examines a number of technology solutions that should help a school district become more efficient and effective.

The enterprise management domain is the most technically complex of the four domains, and assumes a level of infrastructure and expertise to make implementation feasible. In most cases enterprise management is the last area addressed by school districts.
